We finally got our first major rain storm along the Fisher Track on the Te Araroa but managed to survive!

Despite the inclement weather, we hiked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing through clouds and fierce winds and survived!​

The 42 Traverse was a pleasant start as the Tongariro Alpine Crossing loomed ahead. ​

A tough day on the Te Araroa is followed by some easy going along the beautiful Timber Trail.

The Te Araroa takes us into the real bush of New Zealand as we trek through the Pirongia Forest.
